Somewhere in each of our lives after we go through a traumatic experience or some sort of big life change, we find ourselves in a season of waiting. And as human beings, we don’t like to wait. In fact, one of our greatest enemies in life is our inability to wait. Waiting is difficult when we’re constantly looking ahead to the next thing. I catch myself skipping ahead to where I might be in the future after the divorce. Sometimes so much so, that I tend to miss some of the things God is doing right here, right now inside of me, during this season of waiting.
